Small Town, Familiar Rhythms
Project Overview
This photography series captures the essence of small-town life through both its everyday sights and its most anticipated annual tradition. Inspired by Tina Barney’s Small Towns series, this project explores the duality of comfort and monotony in a close-knit community. The images focus on the familiar landscapes, routines, and faces that define the town’s identity.
As both a resident and participant, I offer an insider’s perspective—highlighting the nostalgia, tradition, and deep-rooted connections that shape the town’s character. Through this project, I aim to preserve these moments in a way that speaks to both the personal and the universal experience of small-town living.
